Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on the reduction of the effects of climate change, measuring, reducing and reporting greenhouse-gas emissions is becoming a legal obligation for businesses operating in the UAE — overseen by the Ministry of Climate Change & Environment and aligned with the UAE Net Zero 2050 strategy.
